School Improvement Process (SIP)
Each fully accredited school undergoes a self-evaluation process using the School Improvement Plan (SIP) model, under the accrediting agency (Florida Catholic Conference) agreement with the National Study of School Evaluation (NSSE). The process takes a year to a year and a half to complete. Once completed, there is an on-site 3-day visitation by personnel from Dioceses outside the host school which verifies the school's report. A third-year review follows with administrators, pastor, faculty, parents, FCC representative, etc. Thus follows a new cycle, so that every 7 years a new Self-Study begins. Trinity Catholic is presently at work implementing the five-year Action Plan by addressing one of the three goals established in their Self-Study for improving student performance.
