National Junior Honor Society; Sr. Rose-Aileen Chapter
“NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the national organization since its beginning in 1929.
Five main purposes have guided chapters of NJHS from the beginning: to create enthusiasm for scholarship; to stimulate a desire to render service; to promote leadership; to encourage responsible citizenship; and to develop character in the students of secondary schools. These purposes also translate into the criteria used for membership selection in each local chapter.” (source: https://www.njhs.us/about/)
Students are eligible to apply for membership in the Rose-Aileen Chapter of NJHS based on their cumulative Middle School GPAs after at least one full semester at Trinity. Students will then fill out an application showcasing evidence of their leadership, character, citizenship, and service. If selected, students will be inducted into NJHS at a ceremony that takes place at the beginning of each school year.
Student Council
The Student Council at Trinity Catholic School plays a vital role in our mission, fostering Christian maturity, integrity, and knowledge. These student leaders embody Catholic social teachings through service, organizing initiatives and projects that develop faith-grounded leadership and demonstrate how active participation strengthens Catholic values.
Mini Vinnies
The Trinity Catholic School Mini Vinnies is a junior branch of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. Our goal is to help others through charitable works while spreading the Catholic faith. This organization is made up of Trinity Middle School Students. We lead and organize our school mission to live out the Church’s Social Teaching.
Junior Thespian Troupe
Trinity Catholic School’s Junior Thespian Troupe is a community of dedicated young artists who grow in their craft through rehearsal, performance, and technical production. Each year, our Junior Thespians produce a fall one-act and prepare both performance and technical Thespys for adjudication at the District 10 Junior Thespian Festival, where our students regularly earn Superior and Excellent ratings. Their commitment reflects the belief, echoed by St. John Paul II, that artistic talent is a gift meant to be developed. Through the discipline of theatre, our students grow in perseverance, teamwork, integrity, and confidence. In this way, our Jr. Thespians strengthen both their artistic abilities and their formation in Christian maturity, integrity, and knowledge, living out the mission of our school.
Spring Musical
Our annual spring musical brings together more than 60 students from grades 4 through 8 to create a joyful, collaborative production that strengthens relationships across grade levels. The musical offers students a supportive environment to develop their talents, build confidence, and grow as performers, technicians, and leaders. Throughout the rehearsal process, students practice responsibility, teamwork, time management, and creative problem-solving while exploring meaningful themes connected to Scripture, virtue, and the human experience. Past productions include The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition, Disney's Aladdin JR.,
Red White & Blue Club
The Red, White and Blue Club consists of 7th and 8th Graders and is supervised by the school Security/Safety Officers. Club members will be taught how to raise and lower the flag, and will be encouraged to learn about our nation’s flag history and its patriotism. The members will host school events including Veterans Day Mass and First Responders Appreciation Mass. Club members are responsible for raising the flag each day.
Spanish Club
The Spanish Club is a welcoming place where students learn about the Spanish language and cultures. In the Spanish Club, students practice speaking Spanish. They also explore traditions, music, food, and celebrations from Spanish-speaking countries. Guest speakers visit the club to talk about their countries, share personal experiences, and teach students about their culture and daily life. Spanish Club helps students build confidence, make friends, and develop respect for different cultures while having fun learning together.
Cross Club
The 8th Grade Cross Club at Trinity Catholic School plays a profound role in fulfilling our mission to cultivate Christian maturity, integrity, and knowledge. Composed of dedicated students, their primary function is to offer prayerful support to our faculty and staff, particularly during times of specific need.
Kindness Club
The Kindness Club at Trinity Catholic School actively promotes our mission by fostering Christian maturity and integrity through practical acts of kindness. This middle school group exemplifies Catholic teachings, creating a supportive environment that complements our challenging academic curriculum, laying a foundation of empathy and service.
Knights Band
Trinity’s Knights Band is an advanced music ensemble for middle school instrumentalists and vocalists. These musicians rehearse weekly and perform music for school and community events. Our Church Choirs are musical ensembles for students in grades 3–8 which offer opportunities for students to cantor and lead congregational singing at school Masses. All music ensembles are formed through an audition process.
Mass Cantors & Volunteers
Our students take an active role in our school Masses by serving as altar servers, cantors, readers, and slide operators—joyfully leading our community through their service. In each of these roles, they help guide their classmates in prayer, support the celebration of the Eucharist, and model what it means to participate fully, consciously, and actively in the liturgy. Their leadership through service reflects our school’s mission to form disciples who grow in Christian maturity, integrity, and knowledge. By offering their gifts to God and to our community, our students discover that true leadership is rooted in serving others and participating wholeheartedly in the sacred work of the Church.
