Trinity Catholic School is fully accredited school under the accrediting agency (Florida Catholic Conference) agreement with the National Study of School Evaluation (NSSE). The School Improvement Plan (SIP) is a model of continuous self evaluation and improvement, focusing on the implementation of goals set. The last SIP was in 2010.
The 2016/17 school year will begin a new SIP. The process takes a year to a year and a half to complete. The process is monitored by a Steering Committee. Committees in the areas of Mission and Catholic Identity, Governance and Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Operational Vitality, are primarily made up of faculty, staff, and School Advisory Council members.
Once completed, there is an on-site visitation by personnel from Dioceses outside the host school which verifies the school’s report. A third-year review follows with administrators, pastor, faculty, parents, FCC representative, etc. Thus follows a new cycle, so that every 7 years a new Self-Study begins.
