Trinity Catholic School has been accepted as a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program and is pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

The IB MYP’s standards will deepen the established academic excellence at Trinity Catholic School. The IB MYP prepares Sixth through Eighth grade students for advanced achievement with higher level thinking, communications, collaborative skills, self management, and reflection.

The IB’s commitment to developing the whole person aligns with Trinity’s mission of teaching the Faith. By connecting what the students are learning to how they can apply it, IB will further enrich the values already well-established at the school such as service, virtue, and leadership. Trinity nurtures these values, among others, through community involvement, weekly mass, and mentorships programs. Trinity Catholic School’s Pastor, Fr. Pete Zalewski, as well as Christian schools and Catholic dioceses throughout the country, have assessed the IB’s impact on the identity of the school and has determined it will positively impact the Catholic culture on campus.
