Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers are welcomed back for the 2021-2022 school year! (Hopefully after Labor Day.) Before any parent/adult volunteers are allowed to work in the school or to be a chaperone, she/he must meet the following requirements:
1.) *MUST complete the following three on-line courses through Praesidium: “Meet Sam”, “Abuse Risk Management for Volunteers”, and “Policies”. Courses mush be renewed every five years. (Information on these Praesidium on-line courses is available in the Front Office.)
2.) *MUST complete a background check with fingerprinting. Background checks must be reprocessed every five years. A VECHS waiver must be signed and returned to the school (waiver must be obtained through the Trinity Office.)
*DRIVERS MUST complete a “Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee Driver Information Sheet” to give authorization for a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) which must be renewed every two years. The cost of Praesidium courses, fingerprints, and the MVR is $65, with checks made payable to Trinity Catholic School or EXACT cash. Volunteers may claim 6 Service Hours for completing the Diocesan requirements. For the health and safety of our students and employees, everyone on campus, including visitors and volunteers, will be strongly encouraged to wear masks if they are not fully vaccinated.
