Hello Parents!

Hope all are well and settling into the routine of school!  As mentioned previously, and back by popular demand, the TCS Home & School Association Support Fund is being reinstated.

Parents are busy and often bombarded with emails asking for donations of money, goods, food, etc. throughout the year for different small events. The truth is that these donations ARE needed, but we want to simplify things by having a fund to pay for many of these items and eliminate so many requests and sign-ups. This is different than fundraisers, and in doing this we don’t want to take away from any of the major projects we currently help finance. To accomplish this goal, we have created a “Support Fund” to help pay for the smaller events/projects. After running the numbers, $45 per child was decided upon.

This would cover the whole school year! We don’t want this to be a burden! We ask that you give what can and paying throughout the year is fine. You will get service hour credit for monies paid! Our goal is to be able to fund each grade’s class basket for the auction, all teacher lunches, most class parties, Teacher Appreciation Week, etc.  (Just as a reminder this will NOT cover other activities at school such as Field Trips, Sports/Drama club fees, etc.) We are collecting funds currently via cash or check. Please place funds in an envelope with your family name (and the name of your child/children & grade) and mark "H&S Support Fund.

Remember you will get 3 service hours credit for every $45 donated to the fund! Once you pay, you will receive a receipt.  Attach that to your Service Hours Form for accounting and tracking purposes and turn in to the Front Office.

We have already begun to coordinate setting up class parties for the students!  Your contribution to this fund is truly valuable – thank you for contributing at your earliest convenience.
