Middle School
6th through 8th Grade
At Trinity Catholic School, we partner with parents to challenge each child to develop a universal perspective, foster a love of learning, provide opportunities for personal growth, and instill a foundation of faith. We strive to inspire in each student a love of God, of self, and of neighbor.
Trinity Catholic School is a certified IB World School in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program.
The IB Middle Years Program (MYP) prepares Sixth through Eighth Grade students for advanced achievement with higher level thinking, communications, collaborative skills, self-management, and reflections. The program’s standards deepen the established tradition of excellence at Trinity Catholic School.
Our small school environment provides outlets for students to explore and expand on their personal interests. Whether inside or outside of the classroom, students have the opportunity to excel in sports, advance in fine arts, compete in academic competitions, and so much more.
**Our holistic approach instills and excites students' love of learning, self-knowledge, and meaningful community membership and participation. **
From 6th to 8th Grade, all students are required to fulfill an annual 10-hour service requirement, reinforcing our commitment to serving others and actively living out our Catholic values. Before graduation, all 8th Grade students are required to complete the IB MYP Community Project, embodying students’ commitment to their Catholic faith, community, and service.
While maintaining a core curriculum of Mathematics, Literature, English, Science, Social Studies, and Religion, Trinity students explore other areas including physical education, music, art, foreign language, and design. Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum, allowing students to research, collaborate, critique, and publish their work.
Advanced classes are offered in Mathematics, Literature, and English.
Eighth-grade students have the opportunity to earn up to three high school credits with Algebra I, Latin I or Spanish I, and H.O.P.E (Health Opportunities through Physical Education).
